Our Story

Destination Aransas Pass is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to enhancing the community of Aransas Pass, Texas through various beautification and enhancement projects. We take pride in our creation of the Saltwater Mardi Gras Festival (formerly known as Pardi Gras), which serves as our annual fundraiser to support these vital initiatives.

Completed & Funded Projects

Destination Aransas Pass has completed several projects in downtown Aransas Pass. These include the removal of overgrown landscaping from flower beds and its replacement with drought-resistant ground covering. Additionally, custom flower pots have been purchased and installed. The organization also funds new flowers every season and collaborates with Clean Green Aransas Pass to water and replant as necessary. Furthermore, benches have been repainted, shell emblems on light poles refreshed, and branded pole banners added to all light poles in the Downtown area.

Destination Aransas Pass has also funded the murals on all entry signs of Aransas Pass and the bridge on Redfish Bay Causeway and refreshed many signs City signs in Aransas Pass. Our organization funded the complete tear out of overgrown/dead landcaping in the median of Johnson Ave. New plants and bullrock were installed.

We are excited about embarking on more projects in town!
